Roasted Chickpeas

Who’s ready to make some roasted chickpeas?! Packed with protein and fiber, this simple recipe is a game-changer for mindful munching.

Roasted chickpeas make a delicious, crunchy snack. And it’s SUPER simple to make! You only need 3 things: canned chickpeas, olive oil, and your favorite seasonings.

Let's transform humble chickpeas into a delicious and nutritious snack that satisfies cravings without compromising your health goals!

1. Pre-heat your oven to 400°F.

2. Gather your ingredients.

You’ll need 2 15.5 oz. cans of chickpeas, olive oil, salt, and your favorite seasonings. I used pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne.

3. Strain and rinse your chickpeas in a colander, then pat dry.

I like to line a separate baking sheet with paper towels and pour the chickpeas onto that to dry them! It just makes it easier, and the sides make sure none of them fall onto the ground.

4. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with cooking spray. Transfer chickpeas to this sheet, then drizzle olive oil and salt to taste.

No specific measurements here, just do what feels right for you 🤗 After you add the olive oil and salt, give the pan a good shake to mix things around!

5. Bake the chickpeas for 45 minutes, shaking the pan every 15 minutes.

Shaking the pan helps make sure the chickpeas cook evenly and don’t stick to the foil!

6. Season the chickpeas with your favorite seasonings. Then put them back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.

I used pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne for this one. But honestly, any combination is delicious! Lemon pepper, chili lime, ranch, cajun, etc… It all works!

7. Let cool, then refrigerate.

You can eat these right away or store in the fridge for later! They probably won’t last long though 😍🤤
