Consider this your sign to make kale chips. These are so simple to make, so addictive, and taste waaayyyy better than anything you’ll buy in the store. It’s the perfect salty snack or veggie side!
All you’re going to need is one bunch of curly kale, olive oil, a few seasonings, and an oven. 10 minutes later you will have mouth-watering goodness 😍
Let’s get started!
Here’s what you’ll need!
1 bunch curly kale
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp of each: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
2. Rip your kale off the stem and into 2-3 inch sized pieces.
They’ll shrink a little in the oven, and you want them to be bite-size pieces. You can chop them if you’d prefer but I think it’s fun to tear them!
3. Wash & dry your kale, then transfer to a lined baking sheet.
4. Toss with olive oil and seasoning.
We say to use 1 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, but measure with your heart And feel free to play with the seasonings! Use your favorites, try out new combinations, and see what you like! Kale is a great canvas to experiment with.
Oh, and don’t forget to add salt to taste!
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
You want to cook them until they’re a vibrant green, just starting to crisp up and have some brown edges. That’s the sweet spot!
Ta-da! There you have it – super simple and super yummy kale chips! Give it a try and let us know what you think!
