Hey babe! You ready for some full-body relief?! Here are the stretches you need.
Flexibility is so impactful on our well-being & I think most of us need to do it more (yes, that means me included). So, if you’re reading this… it’s time. Take the YOU time and do this with me!
Here’s what you’ll do!
Hold each of these for 30-60 seconds:
Thread the Needle (we’re hitting the upper back and getting a nice twist in)
Cobra (for the abssss)
Child’s Pose (really try to get your back/lats by reaching your hands as far out in front of you as you can)
Frog (with your knees bent at 90 degrees, open your legs out as far as you can. Sit back toward your heels to deepen the stretch)
90/90 for Hip Mobility (try not to use your hands!)
Knee Hugs (option: do it laying down instead of sitting up)
Calf Stretch in Downward Dog (pedal your feet & lean into each one)
Chest Stretch (lace those fingers behind you & push your chest out)
Upper Back Opener (now lace in front of you to open your upper back)
Seated Side Stretch (really breathe into this one!)
Spinal Twist (you know this one from gym class)
Half Camel Stretch (sooo great for the anterior chain)
Forearm Stretch (be gentle, here)
Wrist Rolls (feels so good after the forearms)
Now, go hydrate!
Water improves flexibility, supports joint & muscle health, reduces stiffness, and is also important for, well, LIFE! So, go drink up 💧
